Description
A British curriculum designed to give teachers new ideas, approaches and materials for detailed activities which will allow pupils to investigate and explore the historical, geographical, ecological and often multicultural origins of many 'British' plants. The philosophy of the book is based on cultural ecology, studying the inter-relationships between plants and animals and their environments. Activities focus on plants with an emphasis on the human and cultural aspects and provides a multicultural focus for ecological work.
