Die Schulchronik Stakendorfs wurde 1882 begonnen und durch die jeweiligen Lehrer bis 1953 fortgeführt. Sie wurde in der Sütterlin-schrift geschrieben. Die heute kaum verwendete Schrift wurde übersetzt und steht damit jetzt allen in lesbarer Form zur Verfügung. Ergänzt wird die Schulchronik durch kleine Geschichten aus Stakendorf und der Umgebung.
