There was the roaring twenties, prohibition, WWII, and the baby boomers. Miller is a baby boomer from a large family of seven boys. They worked hard, created much of their own entertainment, and became productive American citizens. As children we learned to do without a lot but children are resilient and with the right guidance overcome enormous barriers and flourish in society.
